As a subscriber this season, you'll be securing fresh, locally grown veggies by our teachers, students and volunteers while also be supporting our mission to teach hundreds of children how to grow, harvest and preserve organic, non gmo food as well as care for our urban chickens. Not only are the kids excited to learn but we are creating food security in an urban area, we are also giving opportunities for adults and seniors to get involved in a community by having them come help us with the gardening duties. It's a huge win-win!
These are life skills that are so important to pass on to the next generation and we are proud to offer this urban garden and backyard chicken coop to our program! All proceeds will go right back to the program and to cover costs for supplies like chicken feed, seeds, compost, dirt, planters, pots, staff and much, much, more!
