are celebrating
20 clients that have been working with us for 20
years or more! We are highlighting these clients in a series of
E-Newsletters over a few months time.
In August
of 1988, Mt. Baker Plywood (now Mt. Baker Products)
bought a computer system and AddonSoftware from us. As with most
of our long-term clients, over the years Mt. Baker has experienced
significant changes and their software has been customized many
times to meet their changing requirements.

Products
Mt. Baker is a hardwood plywood manufacturer in Bellingham, WA.
Most of the plywood produced by the company is cherry, alder, oak,
walnut or maple. Manufacturing to customer specifications with a
quick turnaround time has been the key to Mt. Baker's success.
Much of the plywood produced by Mt. Baker is used to make furniture
and cabinets. The company employs approximately 150 people with
sales of over $70 million.
The philosophy of Mt. Baker is simple. "We want
to produce the highest quality product with the highest level of
service and the fastest turnaround for the customer who values
that, as opposed to just selling at a low price," says Steve King,
VP of Sales for Mt. Baker. "We're trying to have our market niche
based on quality and dependability."
"Our team at MASI is amazing," says Patty
Proctor, Mt. Baker Controller. "We are currently going through an
upgrade to our production and inventory control systems and our
MASI team is with us every step of the way making sure our
accounting software and the production software work together.
Whenever we've had system issues, we get a quick response and
resolution," say Patty. "MASI takes the drama and disaster out of
our daily operations."
