20 YEARS OF PUTTING THE PEDALS TO THE METAL!


20 years ago, a group of enthusiastic cyclists got together and set into motion Winnipeg's premier cycling event! BIKE TO WORK DAY presented by CAA Manitoba is happening NEXT WEEK, Tuesday, June 9th, 2026. Check out THIS VIDEO on why Bike to Work Day is such an anticipated event!


Between 6:30am - 9:00am visit one or all of the 71 Pit Stops across the city on your morning commute to work! Keen cyclists can join in a game of Ride and Go Seek visit 8 Pit Stops and be entered to win a fabulous prize!


AND in celebration of 20 years we're hosting 20 x 20! Beautifully ambitious cyclists can visit 20 Pit Stops to be entered to win a GRAND PRIZE (2 Thursday tickets to Winnipeg Folk Festival)


Be sure to visit the MPI All Day Pit Stop at The Forks Market between 9am - 2pm where there will be FREE cake and coffee provided by Tall Grass Prairie Bread Co. and music by Winnipeg Steel Orchestra!

BIKE TO WORK DAY GROUP RIDE

Starting at Assiniboine Park, this is a slow roll, no drop ride that will stop at several Pit Stops along the way. You can join us anywhere along the route and if you need to get to work, leave us at any time to make it on time. If you have the time though we would love to have you join us and enjoy the ride.

ROLLING THROUGH RED RIVER MÉTIS HISTORY

Rolling Through Red River Métis History explores Métis heritage through Winnipeg landmarks connecting waterways, community, resilience, shared stories, and reconciliation. Guided by Richard Charpentier, this Group Ride is free and open to everyone with no sign-up required. Meet us at the “Scenic Walkway” in Lagimodiere-Gaboury Park where the Red & Seine Rivers meet. This is a Bike Tour – Bring Your Own Bike!

KIDICAL MASS

Come join Bike Winnipeg for the 4th annual Kidical Mass ride. This looped ride will begin at Vimy Ridge Park and take us down Wolseley, over the Omand's Park bridge, along Wellington Crescent, across the Maryland Bridge and back down Wolseley to return to Vimy Ridge Park. We will meet at 1:00 pm for some bike decorating and start to ride at 1:30 pm.


The ride will be family and of course kid friendly and will move at whatever pace the kids set, and a snack will be provided at the end of the ride. Let’s make Kidical Mass a Winnipeg tradition!

Purchase a ticket to the Winnipeg Sea Bears Basketball game THEN meet Bike Winnipeg at the YMCA-YWCA Elmwood-Kildonan Community Hub (454 Kimberley Ave.) on Friday, June 12, 2026 to join a GROUP RIDE to the Canada Life Centre. Meet new pals, avoid traffic & parking, and then cool off at the Sea Bears game! 


Make sure to have a ticket to the JUNE 12, 2026 WINNIPEG SEA BEARS GAME before joining this group ride!
