Teens Against Trafficking
The school year is off to a great start with more than 200 students trained through Teens Against Trafficking in the past two weeks! We anticipate more than 1,000 students trained in the 2018-2019 school year in four Central Oregon districts! Your support is impacting every young person that we are transforming from potential victim to empowered advocate! Our Founder and Executive Director, Nita Belles, recently said, "I love knowing that the kids we engage in the classroom are not going to end up as victims of this atrocity."
Exciting news! IN OUR BACKYARD has written a Teens Against Trafficking Resource Guide that will soon be a published book! We will give a copy to every classroom we educate and we will also make these available for purchase on our website soon! This is a great resource for parents, teens, and anyone serving youth. Keep checking our Teens Against Trafficking page for the link!

We would also like to welcome four new schools which have signed on to bring Teens Against Trafficking to their classrooms- Bend High School, Pioneer High School, Tumalo School, and COIC . We are so excited to see our program grow, and to see more student lives impacted. We know for every youth we train, we have another set of eyes ready to be part of someone's redemption story!

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to be trained as Teens Against Trafficking facilitators. If you live in Central Oregon and are interested in learning more about how you can help, please contact our Program Coordinator, Liz, at liz@inourbackyard.org
Teens Against Trafficking and all of our programs are only possible because of our generous supporters. Please consider making a donation to help us impact more lives today!
