Greetings!
Is 2011 the year that Python takes over GIS? James Fee over at Spatially Adjusted seems to think so. We agree. The release of ArcGIS 10 expands the role of this easy to learn and use programming language. Automation of your routine geoprocessing tasks has never been easier and the new ArcPy mapping module is a fantastic addition for automating map production and PDF map books, finding and fixing broken data sources in your map documents, adding, insert, and removing layers from your map documents, and much more. See our top 10 reasons for using Python with ArcGIS below. |

Subscription Accounts
|
GeoSpatial Training is pleased to offer subscription accounts to individuals and organizations pursuing GIS training through our company. Subscription accounts are a great way to pre-purchase our instructor led and e-learning GIS training courses at a reduced price.
How it Works
When you sign up for a subscription account a "GTS Subscription" balance is established in your subscription account. This subscription account is the retail value of your subscription converted to GTS dollars. For example, a $2,400 subscription can be purchased for $2,000. The starting balance in your GTS account would be $2,400 even though your purchase price was $2,000. Upon purchasing a subscription, your organization will designate an account administrator to manage the account. Each time you request a training course from our course catalog we will ship the course to your address or provide it through e-delivery and subtract the retail cost of the course from your GTS balance. There is no time limit within which your GTS dollars must be used and you can add funds to this account at any time.
