The Pennsylvania Department of Health has published the 2011 Fee Schedule for Medical Records in the Pennsylvania Bulletin at http://www.pabulletin.com/secure/data/vol42/42-48/2328.html.

The Fee Schedule specifies the amounts that may be charged by a health care facility or health care provider upon receipt of a request or subpoena for production of medical charts or records.

Please also note that the Pennsylvania Medical Society advised its members in 2009 that the fee schedule represents the maximum amount that may be charged for medical records. Click here to read the PMS' notice to members when it advised them of the 2009 fee schedule.
