BSLA Announces the 2014 Award Winners
With much appreciation to all those projects submitted to the BSLA Awards Program and congratulations to all those that won, the Boston Society of Landscape Architects is delighted to announce the winners of the 2014 Awards.

B
SLA's highly regarded awards program celebrates the work of Massachusetts and Maine landscape architects and landscape architectural work in the two states.

The BSLA seeks to recognize excellence in the diverse practices of our members. To that end, all members are encouraged to submit their best work for review by the program jury. Winning projects demonstrated excellence and reflected the careful stewardship, wise planning, and artful design of our cultural and natural environment.

This year, the Award of Excellence was given to Reed Hilderbrand for their project, From Disaster to Restart: Houston Arboretum in which they framed a series of management strategies for the short and long term that engage the dynamic processes of ecological change and aim for a more diverse, robust, and resilient landscape of native prairies, wooded ravines and riparian corridors endemic to southeast Texas.
