2016 Call for Entries - AIA Housing Awards

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: November 20, 2015, before 5 p.m. Eastern

The Housing Knowledge Community of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) established this awards program to recognize the best in housing design for households of all incomes. The program emphasizes the importance of good housing as a necessity of life, a sanctuary for the human spirit, and a valuable national resource. It is the intent of the program to recognize quality work in a variety of design styles.

Louisiana architect Kevin L. Harris, FAIA, has been selected to serve on the AIA Housing Awards jury.

Road to Fellowship Workshop

You are ready to apply for Fellowship in the AIA. Maybe you want the tools to understand what the Jury requires or perhaps you just want to understand the process better.

AIA Gulf States is fortunate to have Lee Askew, FAIA, of Memphis, and Allison Anderson, FAIA, of Mississippi, as presenters/mentors. Mr. Askew has served on the Fellows Jury and Ms. Anderson was recently elevated to Fellow status. They are eager to answer your questions and help guide you.
