Student Sessions:

Each year, LIFE secures volunteers from various Business and Education professions to lead the Finance, Marketing and overall Entrepreneurial components of the YEC.  These facilitators have created a healthy competition among themselves to guide the student presentations which take place towards the end of the day. This year, Wayne Sutton will be providing the motivating message to inspire students to put their best foot forward to win a LIFE scholarship.

Parent Sessions:

The YEC's Parent sessions are designed to empower parents with information and resources to improve their child's academic experience. Parent's will leave the YEC better prepared to advocate for their children. Additionally, we are offering a "Know Your Rights" workshop for the parents to discuss various community issues associated with citizen's interaction with law enforcement.

LIFE's Purpose

LIFE Courses, Inc. was founded to address the critical needs faced by middle school students and to assist them during their transition from elementary school to high school. Studies have shown that a young person's performance in the middle school grades (6th-9th) often times determine their long term academic success or failure. To put it bluntly, those that fail at middle school, have the highest probability of permanently dropping off of the educational grid. We offer programs and activities that supplement student's education with real world experiences that enrich the overall educational process and improve their chances of academic and professional success. We are "A Practical Approach To Education".
