Complementing the season-long Order of Merit competition, is a season-long Most Improved Player Award where the three players, whose game has most improved from their first Tour event to their last, will receive an invitation for an early season round of golf at Coppinwood Golf Club.
Congratulations go to Barry Campbell, on winning the Most Improved Player Award for 2015. Barry began his Tour season, at Brantford Golf & Country Club in B-Flight, with a Handicap Factor of 14.6. In his last Tour event, he played in the A-flight with a Factor of 7.7, giving him an improvement ratio of 1.350. In second place, was Jarrett Hemmes, with an improvement ratio of 1.277 and, placing third, was Ty Kam with an improvement ratio of 1.240.
Another way to win on Tour is through the TaylorMade Rewards Program where, once again, Tour players show their support of Tour sponsor TaylorMade Golf by purchasing fantastic equipment and apparel from our title sponsor. For every $50 spent on TaylorMade products, players receive a ballot to win of one of four 2016 rounds of golf at Oviinbyrd Golf Club. Yet again, Tour players have showed tremendous support for TaylorMade Adidas by purchasing $52,608.60 worth of product. This year, the winners of the TaylorMade Rewards Program are: Brain Nash, Kevin Allen, Sean Kaye and Robin Hutchins.
Sponsor Paul Dermody, President of P.J. Dermody (insurance?) holds a season long contest for two 43" LG flat screen TV's. Once again, players who requested an insurance quote from Paul would be eligible for the draw. This year, the lucky winners of these amazing prizes are Robin Hutchins and Michael Cann.
We would like to sincerely thank the 145 players who took the time to complete the 2015 Tour Player Survey! Although it was a long one, it was completed by more players than any previous survey! Players who completed the survey were entered into a draw for two prizes. The winner of the $50 Mill Street Brew Pub certificate is Clayton MacKay and the winner of two dozen TaylorMade Project [a] golf balls is Duane Gomes
Thank you again for a WONDERFUL season and we look forward to hosting you ON TOUR in 2016..!
