Taking off July 10!
Impact Ndola 2015
On July 10, 65 Northrise friends from the states will board a plane for a two week trip to Zambia and join 112 students and staff in service to their city. Medical and Dental teams will be serving at the NUCare clinic, teams will be doing Vacation Bible School at local orphanages, building a church and much more. Pray for the team, safe travel, the hearts of the people they touch, and unity between the visitors and students as they work together.

MUKUPA MUSONDA
Says Thank You!

On May 18, Northrise graduate Mukupa Musonda received her Masters of Social Work from Baylor University. Many of you contributed prayers and money to help her and she would like to thank each of you for your support. 

After a break, Mukupa will be headed back to Zambia to begin working with Northrise University on opening a school of social work.

This was the charge to the 33 Northrise graduates who walked across the stage to receive their diplomas.These graduates have worked hard; some have overcome enormous odds- but are finally able to venture out of the doors of Northrise to change Zambia. Armed with an education that combines academic excellence with spiritual maturity, the graduates are ready to join the ranks of Northrise alumni already using their degrees and talents to effect change. Congratulations, Class of 2015! 


SCHOOL OF NURSING
Campus Opens in Solwezi

Northrise University is proud to announce the official opening of a new satellite campus in Solwezi, Zambia, which will offer a nursing degree. Solwezi is located about 300 miles northwest of the main Northrise campus in Ndola, and is the home of a division of First Quantum Minerals(FQM), a large mining company.

The genesis of this nursing school  is yet another evidence of the hand of God at work, which has been so apparent throughout the Northrise story.  FQM was in need of qualified nurses to offer primary health care to benefit the communities surrounding their operations....
