Region III Meeting & Schedule - 2016 AGM

The 2016 Region III Meeting will be in Salon D, 8:00 AM - 12 PM.  Please download agenda and documents to bring to our meeting.

We will have a very special recognition at our Regional meeting, Region III Coach of the Year Award.  We are pleased to announce that our winner is Kinish Ali,  Coach of FC Legends, North Texas.

There will be elections for the office of Region Director and Region Secretary. Rob LaVielle will run again as Director and Karon Beyer will run again as Secretary.  Both ask for your support.

We look forward to seeing all of you next week in San Antonio, safe travels to all!

Carlos Rodriguez Memorial Bench Dedication
 
A very special event is scheduled for Saturday, February 27.

Carlos Rodriguez, a USASA Hall of Fame member, past Region III Director, and a San Antonio soccer legend, will have a memorial bench unveiled in his name at 2:00pm at the Schertz Complex SSC.

The address for directions is 75 Maske Rd. Schertz, TX 78154.

We'd like all Region III members to attend to remember & honor Carlos.

Region III Workshop

     

 

The Region III meeting & workshop scheduled for June 17th & 18th, 2016. We will be returning to the HYATT FRENCH QUARTER NEW ORLEANS, at $151/night single or double. We will plan dinner on the 19th at 6:30 CST, walking distance from the hotel. Our meeting/workshop will run from 8:30 - 4:00 CST with a working lunch planned.  Dinner RSVP's will be requested at a later date. You may book your hotel at the below link.

To encourage our States to invite League representatives we again will cover one League representative 1 night hotel stay that would like to attend the Region III workshop through our Grants program.  Please have them make their reservations through the link above and email me their name confirmation number, the one night stay will be paid for on that weekend.  We highly encourage States to invite league representatives in addition to unaffiliated league representatives that you are trying to recruit to our Workshop. Region III National Cup

 

The 2016 Regional National Cup will be held in the Dallas Texas area June 3rd - 5th. Teams planning to fly can either choose Dallas Fort Worth or Dallas Love Field.  Field & Hotel information will be forthcoming. 

 

Each State may send up to 2 teams for the Men's Amateur. If some States do not send teams to the competition, this may open 1 slot per State to send an additional team.  This is at the discretion of the Region III Cup Commissioner.  Our Regional winner along with their State Association will be able to submit a bid to host the National Amateur Cup final at home facility.  More details forthcoming.

 

We will have a Regional O-30 competition if there are enough teams willing to participate.

 

The competition application deadline is April 29th, all applications must be submitted by a State representative with payment.  Applications will be accepted via email as long as payment is received by the deadline.  Late applications will not be accepted.  For any additional National Cup questions, contact Darius Ejlali, ncasa@ncsoccer.org, or 336-698-6569.

Region III Referee Lifetime Achievement Award

Every state has several deserving referee's to be recognized. We would like to have at least 1 nomination from each State in Region III.

2016 Hall of Fame Nomination Deadline

 

The 2016 US Adult Soccer Hall of Fame Nomination deadline is April 15th, please consider worthy candidates that support and dedicate time to Adult Soccer.


The US Adult Soccer Hall of Fame was established in 2006, to honor those individuals who have significantly contributed to the growth of adult amateur soccer in the United States. The selected individuals will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the US Adult Soccer's annual Midyear Meeting.
