2016 USAC General Membership Meeting

The 2016 USAC General Membership meeting will be held on Thursday, November 17th, at 6:30 pm at the   Salt Lake City Library (Conf. Room B). We encourage all members in good standing to attend.

In addition to updates from the Officers, our legal Counsel will discuss the appeals of both the  Provo and  Weber cases to the Utah Supreme Court, and we will be holding elections for the 2017 USAC Board of Directors. In accordance with the USAC bylaws, three current directors (Bert Ley, Kris Olson, Chris Barkey) have been selected from the existing 2016 board to continue serving on the 2017 board. Below is the final list of approved nominees for the remaining four positions. To see statements from the candidates, click here.

Ryan Caggiano
Byron Gunderson
Chris Holt
Jarrod Kear
John Ludlum
Mark McGlothlin

Elections will be held at the beginning of the meeting, and the results will be announced by the end of the night. We encourage you to attend, listen to the nominees, and to submit your vote. If you are unable to attend the meeting in person, you may cast your vote by proxy by contacting  [email protected] by November 16th.

We thank you for your support, and we hope to see you on November 17th!

5000th MEMBER DRIVE

Believe it or not, from a handful of individuals we have grown to nearly 5,000 members. To celebrate that monumental number, the USAC (with Fish Tech Outfitters and Sage Fly Fishing) will be giving away the brand new Sage X to member # 5000. It may take a week, it may take a month, but either way it shows how far we've come as an organization - and how much stronger our grassroots voice has become

To be eligible, the person must be a new member ( so if you're already receiving this email, you can't win the X), must support USAC's mission statement, and must sign up through our website. Spread the word, and help us hit 5,000 members strong!
Thanks again for your continued support.
