'The Ultimate Block Party'
In celebration of Georgia Cities Week, Main Street Douglasville hosted the Ultimate Block Party in downtown Douglasville on April 29th! With well over 500 participants, the event was a great success for downtown Douglasville!
The Ultimate Block Party featured unique vendors, great music, inflatables for the kids, delicious food trucks, face painting, photo booths and so much more!

Bio Life!
Wednesday WindDown
We had more than 1500 people from all over the region join us in downtown Douglasville for many evenings of smooth jazz, R&B and soul music this summer! Historically this event is every Wednesday in June and July and features live music, vendors, and more! We hope you will join us next summer!
Main Street Douglasville Ice Cream Social
Over 1200 people joined us in downtown Douglasville for National Ice Cream Day (July 17th) where the Main Street Douglasville Program and other City departments served approximately 2000 servings of ice cream! This event featured FREE ice cream, awesome music and a great opportunity to gather with our community!

Food Truck Mondays
We asked our community to take a break from their normal lunchtime routine and join us in downtown Douglasville for Food Truck Mondays beginning on July 11th and extending until August 1st! The event began with 4 food trucks and quickly grew to include over 10 food trucks each Monday with free water, tents, an awesome DJ, seating and much more! We were overwhelmed with over 2000 people who showed up at the Food Truck Mondays series! Hungry participants had the opportunity to enjoy food from the following participating food trucks:

Friday Night Flicks
Over 200 people flocked to downtown Douglasville for our annual Friday Night Flicks movie night! This year, we showcased the movie Cinderella (2015). In addition to the movie, this free family friendly event also included pre-show entertainment and concessions!
Even though we experienced some technical difficulties with the movie, we promise we will make it up to you in the near future!
Fall/Winter Event Recap:
The Main Street Douglasville Program had a fantastic fall/winter season, reintroducing some community favorite events to downtown Douglasville. Take a look below as we look back on a fun filled fall/winter season!
Hot Rods On Main Cruise-In Series
Hot Rods on Main returned to downtown Douglasville, bringing revving entertainment on
August 26th, September 30th and October 21st.
Featuring cool hot rods, live music, and tons of vendors, this event was a crowd favorite! People from all over the region flocked to downtown Douglasville to check out some of the area's coolest classic, muscle, and other high-performance vehicles. Some event participants showcased their ride at the Car Show and took away cash prizes and trophies!
