"The Best of the West ~ Chamber Round-Up"

What an amazing night! We were able to celebrate you!

The silent auction had a fabulous display of items (donated by our generous members) and the dessert auction was fun, as always. Thank you, Joe Knight, for helping us with this.  We want to thank our sponsors, our members who donated to the silent auction or dessert auction, loaned decorations and helped on the committee and the actual event.

Our new 2016 officers:
Michele Ballinger, Mindful--President
Dawn Allen, Blue Spruce Village, LLC--Vice-President
Kelly Doane, Adams Bank & Trust--Secretary
Connie Murray, Mueller & Associates CPA--Treasurer
Debbie Schleiger, Berthoud Drug--Director of Ambassadors
Bill Gilmore, Bill's Fix-It Shop--Director
Carrie Mercer, Grandpa's Cafe--Director
Dorothy King, Renaze Salon & Day Spa; D's Boutique--Director
Max Lucchetti, BrightStar Care--Director
Mike Hart, Town of Berthoud--Ex-Officio
Tom Texeira. Thompson School District--Ex-Officio
Deanne Mulvihill, Executive Director--Ex-Officio

The Best Western PLUS Crossroads Inn & Conference Center's staff did an amazing job with the food and the set up. Cindy Smith and her staff were very accommodating, easy to work with and welcoming. Todd McIntyer was gracious in offering our attendees a "special rate" for a night's stay.

3.  Ambassador of the Year

Congratulations to  Dawn Allen  with Blue Spruce Village who was voted Ambassador of the Year!  She is on many committees and has spent 150 hours volunteering for various Chamber events! Ambassadors look at the log sheets that each Ambassador fills out with their volunteer hours before they vote.

Ambassadors serve in many capacities: Business before Hours, Luncheons, Business after Hours, Ribbon Cuttings, event committees (Installation Dinner, Berthoud Day, Quilt, Art & Craft Show, Golf Tournament, and Oktoberfest as well as other special events we do.)

TH
ANK YOU you for all of your hard work and volunteer time.  We really appreciate you!

7.  Teachers "Supplies Party"

Can you believe the first semester of school is already over? This means that the teachers are running out of their classroom supplies. We are having our 2nd Annual "Supplies Party" for them on February 17, 2016 in conjunction with our Business After Hours. We are accepting :"supplies" donations as well as $100 bills (that will be given in a drawing to some lucky teachers who RSVP).

Last year we had an overwhelming response and support from you, our chamber members. Some ideas for donating would be pencils, pens, markers, highlighters, hand sanitizer, cleaning wipes, etc.  For a more complete list, click here.

Please drop off all donations to the chamber office by Monday, February 15, 2016. Help us support our teachers, who are teaching our future business leaders.

If you haven't put in your RSVP for this event, please click here.  It will be held at the Berthoud Community Library District.

8.  Do You Want New Members and New Residents to Know About You and Your Business?

We give out between 5-15 welcome bags a month.  As a member of the BACC, you have the opportunity to have your "swag" put in these welcome bags we give to our new members at ribbon cuttings and to the new home owners in Berthoud.

Our bags right now are a little on the thin side and not very welcoming...please drop your business swag by the chamber office so we can make up new bags.

Thank you!
