2016 International Scientific Workshop an overwhelming success!

World-renowned researchers and clinicians in the field of Progeria converged from 14 countries to meet in Cambridge, MA for PRF's 8th International Scientific Workshop entitled,
"Across the Table, Around the Globe".

The breadth and scope of work is expanding every year; as experts work to find a cure for Progeria and unlock the mysteries of aging and aging diseases.

Speaker and poster presentations showcased scientific findings and inspired future collaborations between the research and medical communities. Scientists presented new data for 20 possible therapeutic avenues for Progeria.

Zoey, Meghan and Carly
(l to r) inspired the crowd
Researchers had the unique opportunity to meet some of the people their work could help: Meghan Waldron, Carly Kudzia, Zoey Penny and their families.  Meghan spoke about her experience living with Progeria, and Carly and Zoey led the entire group in a lively game of Simon Says.
Attendees discuss latest research & discoveries at  poster presentations

For more details, read an in depth summary on the PRF website and on pages 6-7 in our latest newsletter.

Together we WILL find the cure!
