About This Year's DFW Fiber Fest Registration
It's that time of year again - the day we hold our collective breaths, flip that switch, and choose the classes we all want to take next spring.
We all know that last year's "new" registration system was not popular - and not a good fit for our event. So this year, we went to talk to our friends who run the Madrona Fiber Retreat in Washington State each year. We were able to get their information about the company that they have used for about 10 years and we have hired that company for this year's registration. One important thing to note with this system, classes are not yours until you complete the checkout process. If a class sells out while you are going through the registration process, you shown an error and will need to remove the class from your cart before you proceed.
On this Saturday, November 14, at 10 am in the morning, we will open up registration for the 2016 event. You will need to go to the
on our website to click on the link to the new Registration System.
You will need to register for only one person at a time - but please select all of your chosen classes before checking out. The classes will be listed by day and time.
Class Prices are as follows:
- 3-hour Classes: $65 (early bird)/$75 (After January 1, 2016)
Materials fees will be included in the cost of the class once again this year. The class fee listed in the registration system will reflect the class fees along with any of those materials fees.
SOLD OUT CLASSES
We know that there will be some classes that will sell out faster than others. As much as we'd love for you all to be able to take the exact classes you want, we keep our class sizes at no more than 20 for the most part - and, unfortunately, we cannot fit 50 people into those 20 seats.
You will be able to tell if a class is sold out if there is no check box next to the class.
If a class you wanted to register for is not available, you will need to fill out our new Waitlist Form
We encourage you to have back-up selections for those time periods that may be sold out if you definitely want to be in class at that time.
However, one of the common "Complaints" we have is that our students feel rushed to shop in the vendor hall and they wish they had not overscheduled themselves with classes. We truly encourage you to leave time in your schedules to spend time with our Vendors and with other fiber-minded people in the Stitching Lounge and around the Convention Center.

Each person must register separately. Each individual student must have their own email address.
