2nd Annual Cruisin' Michigan the Road Rally, May 7, 2016

Sign up now for one of the funnest Road Rally around!
Last years event was such a blast, so we had to do it again.
You can drive a classic, hot rod or even a mini van. Entry is only $100. This gets you in the competition for a great cash prize and dinner at the finish line for two. And no I can't tell you were the finish line is or I would have to kill ya! All I can say is, it is a one day tour of many Auto Heritage sites as our check points. And lots of fun at the end. We check in at the starting line May 7th, between 7:30 and 8:00am. Then we officially start sending cars out at 8:30am. Get in early because you will need the time to route your trip for the day. This is all Scavenger hunt style. You will need to be registered by May 1,2016

500.00 People's Choice winner, $100.00 to each class winner with 10 vehicles entered in the class. Featured vehicles for display only include the
1966 Batmobile, Speed Racer, The Munsters Koach
and others. We will also have a few authors signing books. Art Cervi, AKA
Bozo the Clown
has his book out, ("I did What?") John Clor with his Mustang History Book and Bob Harris with his Rock and Roll of the 60's and the 70's in Metro Detroit. And lets not forget the
Ms. HotRodPalooza Contest
. Yes ladies,, All you need to do is dress like what you feel a Hot Rod Girl dresses like. Remember we are a family friendly event. Lots of Vendors for all, Everything from Car Signs to Sentsy. Everything for the Mancave and the Ladycave.
$15.00 entry for Car and driver, $15.00 for the Ms. HotRodPalooza contest entry and $5.00 spectators. This is a Fund Raiser event for the Wayne Ford Civic League which supports multiple charities in the Metro Detroit Area.

Yes folks, don't miss the 4th Annual All American Wayne Road Cruise. This year we are now part of Pure Michigan, AutoPalooza and the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the City of Westland. And when the sun goes down, Don't go home, Come and join us for the 2nd Annual All American Cruise
Drive In Movie. Yes we have rented a 55 foot, blow up movie screen again. Grab a bag of popcorn and stop by the Wayne Ford Civic League at
1661 N Wayne Rd, Westland, MI 48185. This year we will be showing a Speed Racer Cartoon and then the 2008 Movie Speed Racer Staring Emile Hirsch, Matthew Fox, and Christina Ricci. Also check out the Speed Racer car we will have on display for the kids.

Nothing but the Classics
Due to safety, We have had to limit the number of vehicles for Cruisin' Hines this year. The only way to do that is tighten up on what can Cruise. So please help us pass the word. All Vehicles must be 25 years or older. 1991 or older. After having multiple people thinking our modified vehicle rule was Dual exhaust or less. After having 4 accidents on Ford road last year.. We have to do something.
Our Entrance is Ford road and we will be using three lanes to stage vehicles in. Once you enter Hines Drive from Ford Road, Watch for our staff to direct you into the right lane. If everyone stays in the lane they are directed to, everyone will get in efficiently. And for those vehicles that need time to cool down.. This will help them as well.
Also remember we have a cooling station half way between Ford Road and Outer Drive.
And don't forget out kick off Party. Saturday night at CrossPointe Church in Wayne. Free Car Show, Free Food and last year we had almost 600 vehicles.
