Alaska-Kamchatka-Yakutsk service starts July 11

Discover the charms of the Russian Far East this Summer! Yakutia Airlines will resume seasonal passenger and air cargo service from Anchorage to signature destination Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, on the Kamchatka Peninsula, and will extend the service to Yakutsk, the world's largest city on permafrost and Russia's diamond capital.

Anchorage - Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky - Yakutsk: Flights will operate on Mondays, from July 11 - August 29, 2016 utilizing Boeing 737-700/800 aircraft.

CONNECT TO RUSSIA VIA JAPAN ON YAKUTIA AIRLINES :
 
Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - Tokyo (Narita): Flights operate on Sundays from May 1, 2016 utilizing Sukhoi Superjet. Convenient connections from/to the US.
 
Tokyo (Narita) -  Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky: Flights will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays from July 16 - August 17, 2016  using a Sukhoi Superjet 100.

Osaka (Kansai) -  Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky: Flights will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays from July 6-13, 2016 using a Sukhoi Superjet 100.

ALL ANCHORAGE DEPARTURES FROM NORTH TERMINAL:  All Yakutia Airlines' flights will depart from the North Terminal of the Anchorage Ted Stevens International Airport. 

IMPORTANT: When traveling on Yakutia Airlines to Russia, your airline reservation must include accurate, updated passport information. Also, a US address is required of all non-US citizens. Please make sure that this information has been provided to your travel agent so that it may be entered into your reservation in the proper format.

The splendor and unique qualities of Kuril Lake rival many beautiful lakes on earth. It is located in Kamchatka's utmost south and is the second largest after Kronotskoye Lake.

Wild rocky shores, impassable scrub, remoteness from the peninsula's capital make the lake hard to reach. However, thanks to helicopter excursions people can admire this glittering diamond of Kamchatka nature at close range and from bird's-eye perspective!

A huge freshwater basin of volcanic origin was formed about 8,000 years ago as a result of a strong earthquake. The lake is 12 km long, 8 km wide, and about 200 meters deep. Read more...
