Construction Notice


The Vance Jackson Low Water Crossings Construction Project will begin on Monday, May 10, 2021 and is estimated to conclude in June 2022 weather permitting.
Project Update

Beginning Thursday June 17, 2021 the Contractor will begin removing trees in the proposed Drainage Channel and along Orsinger Ln. Orsinger Ln will be temporarily closed at Vance Jackson for the safety of the public while the tree removal proceeds. The roadway will be open once work is completed. If needed work will continue on Friday June 18, 2021.
PROJECT SCOPE:

  • Improve low-water road crossings along Vance Jackson Rd at Orsinger Lane and south of Tree Hill Street
  • Improve drainage to reduce water on roadway by reconstructing streets, curbs, sidewalks and driveway approaches as needed
  • Upgrades to SAWS sewer, water, and CPS gas
