Canada’s only national, multi-species veterinary convention is taking place in Charlottetown, PEI from July 13 to 16, 2017.

CE Sessions

The scientific program ( Friday, July 14 to Sunday, July 16 ) features more than 40 highly-rated speakers from Canada and the United States.

Tracks include companion animal, equine, ruminant, animal welfare, and small flock poultry health. 

Topics range from dentistry to dermatology, and from clinical pharmacology to diagnostic imaging.

The 2017 CVMA convention program was reviewed and approved by the  AAVSB RACE program  to offer a total of 125 CE credits (27 max.) available to any one DVM and 72 veterinary technician credits (27 max.) available to any one RVT.  
Hands-On Wet Labs 

Hands-on wet labs are being offered on  Thursday, July 13 , including:

An equine lab  The Oral Examination: Touching and Feeling to Oral Endoscopy and Imaging.

Two surgical labs  Common Surgical Procedures of the Canine Head and Neck ” and  “ Mass Resection and Reconstructive Surgery. ”  

For DVMs and RVTs – “ Small Animal Hematology – Examining Reds and Whites. ” This lab will allow participants to review blood smears and solve mystery cases.
