The Washington Unified School District (WUSD) Board of Education is seeking nominations for the 2017 Employee of the Year Recognition Program. We are asking you to please take some time to complete a nomination form for someone you feel has been an outstanding asset to our district.
The categories are as follows:
Elementary Teacher of the Year (1)
Secondary Teacher of the Year (1)
Support Staff Employee of the Year (1)
Classified Employees of the Year (2)
Volunteer of the Year (1)
Additional forms are available in the reception area of each school site as well the District Office. The nomination period will end Tuesday, February 28, 2017.
The Employee of the Year Honorees will be recognized at the WUSD Employee Appreciation Dinner on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at River City High School and at the WUSD Employee Appreciation Night at Raley Field on Friday, May 19, 2017.
How do I nominate someone?
To nominate a WUSD employee please complete the nomination form below and turn it into the principal of your school site or the Superintendent's Office located at the District Office.
Tickets for the Employee Appreciation Night at Raley Field will go on sale in February. This year we are offering seating only in the Assembly Section and adjacent Lawn Area to allow for all employees and families to enjoy the game together.
