2017 Fall Newsletter 


     On July 31st we celebrated eight years of ministry in Matamoros! This was only possible through the Lord, your prayers and support. Thank YOU! Here is an update of the summer, and beginning of the fall.
Medical Fair & Youth Outreach

   On May 20th we had a medical fair and a youth outreach event. Our goal was to present the gospel through free medical attention, and Hip Hop music. Between both events we were able to reach out to close to six hundred people. Thanks to Lazybrook Baptist Church (Houston, TX), and First Baptist Sanger (Sanger, TX) for sending two awesome teams to serve alongside us. 
Bible Institute Graduation
      Thanks to the Lord and your support eighteen students graduated from our Bible institute on June 24th, they all received a scholarship! Especial thanks to B.H. Carroll Theological Institute for their partnership, and for sending Dr. Cotto to present the students their certificates.
Bible Institute's New Classrooms are Finished!



       After several years of praying, your donations, and hard work three new classrooms are finished. This addition will allow us to train more future leaders, and start a new three year training program.
Three year Program Starts at Bible Institute with 40 Students!

       Thanks to the new three new classrooms we were able to start a better and bigger training program, a three year ministry certificate. On August 29th we started it, and forty students enrolled! Please keep these new students in your prayers as they embark in this journey. Most of them have applied for scholarships, so would you please help us pray for God's provision? It takes $125.00 a year to sponsor a student, would you prayerfully consider sponsoring one of them?
Baptisms - Sixty-six New Believers Baptized!


      On July 1st the churches from the ministry baptized altogether sixty-six new believers! This was a day of great joy and celebration. Please keep these new believers in your prayers.
School Supplies and Backpacks 


      It is hard to believe but many children in Mexico don't go to school due to lack of school supplies. Thanks to your support we were able to give out two hundred and forty-six backpacks with school supplies. God is Good!
Vacation Bible School

     July 17th through July 28th twelve of our churches had vacation bible school, and over seven hundred kids were reached out with the Gospel. In addition, the teaching material and the decorations were shared with other 12 churches, so only the Lord knows the total impact. Please pray for the children who received the Gospel seed.
Citywide Youth Outreach - October 7th

      On October 7th we will have another youth/young adult adult outreach event. Our only purpose is to take the Gospel to a group of people who is not coming to church, so we are going to them. Please pray for a great harvest, and God's provision. 
Mission Trip to Jojutla, Mexico


     Two big earthquakes hit Mexico in the past thirty days, and many big and small cities are devastated. One of them is Jojutla, Morelos. We have contacted a church down there, and we are going to partner with them to bring a team to help, especially to bring food supplies. The team will depart this coming Monday.Would you prayerfully consider making a donation of any amount to help our brothers and sisters in this area?  Please keep us in your prayers for God's provision, and protection for the team and the vehicles, it's a 20 hour drive.
Prayer Requests
1. Let's keep praying for those affected by the hurricanes.

2. Please pray for Mexico, within thirty days two great earthquakes hit central and south Mexico. Many small towns, and big cities are devastated

3. Pray for our churches, the pastors and their families.

4. Please pray that we do not loose the vision that God gave us eight years ago.
