HONORING CASEY FOLKS
Mark your calendar for February 12
as
Let's show support for our Best in the Desert family and pay our respects to Casey Folks with a huge turnout at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, February 12. ORMHOF Chairman Mark McMillin will be attending on behalf of the Hall of Fame. A true off-road pioneer, Casey was one of a kind, and we were honored to know him. Casey's memory will live on as a member of the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame. Here's a look back at Casey's Induction Ceremony video from 2012.

KING OF THE HAMMERS Race Day - Friday, February 10
Dave Cole is the co-founder of King of the Hammers and an Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame board member. KOH started eleven years ago, with a few four-wheel drive friends -- now known as the OG 13 -- racing the rock canyons and desert of Johnson Valley, California for beer and bragging rights. The event has grown to become one of the largest and most anticipated off-road events in the country. King of the Hammers is a week long celebration of off-road, with competitions for motorcycles, UTVs and sportsman 4WD classes. But it's the class of unlimited 4WD vehicles known as 4400 cars that has captured the imagination of off-road fans around the world.
ORMHOF Class of 2011 Inductee Rob MacCachren of desert racing fame will compete at King of the Hammers in the 4 Wheel Parts 4400 car.
Ultra4 cars must be able to race through the desert at speeds topping 100 mph and also survive crawling through the punishing rock canyons of Johnson Valley. The race is so grueling, that typically less than 30% of the vehicles that start the race even make it to the finish line.
2015 Inductee Shannon Campbell is a two time winner at King of the Hammers. He is the first person ever inducted into the Hall of Fame in the Rock Sports category.
Several ORMHOF Rising Stars are also competing at King of the Hammers, including Wayland Campbell and two time king Erik Miller in the 4400 class, and Sara Price in the UTV class.

Speaking of UTVs, check out this nice Walker Evans Racing rig, prepped and ready to go for the Campbells at KOH. Walker Evans is a 2004 Inductee of the Hall of Fame, and also supports the Hall of Fame as a partner with his business, Walker Evans Racing.
Thank you to Walker and Phyllis Evans for supporting the
Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame.
