2017 Subaru IRONMAN 70.3 Muskoka

We are excited to announce that the 10th annual 

 2017 Subaru IRONMAN 70.3 Muskoka event 

 is moving down the road!

The 70.3 mile event will be hosted in beautiful 

downtown Huntsville at the stunning Canada Summit Centre 

on Sunday July 9, 2017. 

The Canada Summit Centre has played host to many world class triathlons. The 5150 Subaru Muskoka Triathlon and the Subaru Muskoka Chase Triathlon were hosted at the Summit Centre. 

Due to major road construction we are unable to host the event at Deerhurst Resort in 2017  but we think you will agree that these changes will make for a fantastic venue.  

The Canada Summit Centre will be the host site for everything from transition, registration, official IRONMAN merchandise, IRONMAN Village. Finally you will finish your race at this magnificent location!

SWIM COURSE

The swim course will see athletes starting 500m down the road from the transition zone. Athletes will start at Camp Kitchen Beach swimming in Fairy Lake. The swim course will travel along the river before exiting beside the Canada Summit Centre.

BIKE COURSE

The bike course will look very familiar! The 94km course will still tour around the Lake of Bays. The course will travel down Brunel Rd and make a left on Britannia Rd. Bikers will make a left on South Portage and then use the same course as in the past around the Lake of Bays. Athletes will then bike back to the Summit Centre up Brunel Rd.

RUN COURSE

The all new run course will see runners cruising through historic Downtown Huntsville before heading out the scenic and flatter course. The one loop course will have 2 turnarounds before finishing at the Canada Summit Centre!
