For the very first time American Iron Gym welcomes  UPA POWERLIFTING!  Events will take place at American Iron Gym, 650 South Rock Blvd Reno Nevada. The divisions will include open, teen, junior, and master's divisions for men & women. Lifts will include bench press, squat and deadlift. This intense event will also include a Equipped and RAW division.

The United Powerlifting Association (UPA) is a leading powerlifting organization in the United States. It is the mission of the UPA to powerlifting competitions of uniform high quality which is available to all athletes who meet the criteria for membership throughout the United States.

Our goal is to ensure lifters are provided an opportunity and location to showcase the results of their efforts in a safe and competitive environment. The UPA provides opportunities for a range of lifters from the beginner to the elite level. The UPA is an affiliate of the GPC.
