OUR YEAR IN REVIEW
As we look back at the successes and accomplishments we've experienced in 2018, all our thanks go first and foremost to our AMAZING clients, partners and industry colleagues from around the world! Without you, none of what we do would be possible! Thank you for your loyalty, trust, and most of all, your friendship!
Here are some of our favorite moments and milestones from 2018
JANUARY
We kicked off 2018 with a bang! January was our 4th-best month on record out of 22 years in business! We exceeded our reservation goals by 47.9%!

We also relaunched the PCH Health and Wellness Program in January. This included morning and afternoon group workout sessions led by professional trainers and healthy meal delivery services to our office. Needless to say, we worked our butts off in January!
FEBRUARY
We attended the Corporate Housing Providers Association (CHPA) Annual Conference in Las Vegas where PCH received the 2nd consecutive Tower of Excellence Award for 'Best Philanthropic/Community Program.' This was our 7th Tower of Excellence Award from CHPA.

We spent a lot of other time on the road visiting our clients and attending other conferences in February, but we saved some time for a team-building painting class too! Look at all those cute Pets of PCH!
MARCH
March brought the news that our Director of Client Services, Michelle Velasquez, was being presented with the Worldwide ERC Meritorious Service Award.

Michelle earned this award for her many leadership contributions to to WERC including serving on the YP40 and Conference Planning Committees.
APRIL
April was another amazing month! We hit the road with some of our corporate housing friends for a 4-day nationwide tour of one of our RMC Partner's offices. So much fun!

We also finished up our Spring Training housing reservations which left just enough time to go support our players for the start of Baseball season! PCH also got its very first sports team...well we sponsored one anyway! Congrats to the PCH Ragin Cajuns Girls Softball Team for a great season!
MAY
The PCH Team was on the road again in May. We traveled to Dallas for the WERC Americas Mobility Conference at the beginning of the month, then followed it up with a trip to San Diego for the Forum for Expatriate Management-Americas Conference. We got all dressed up for our 5th consecutive year of being short-listed for the EMMA award for Corporate Housing Provider of the Year, and we walked away in the Winner's Circle!
JUNE
We had some Summer Fun in June by launching our PCH Bitmoji Contest. We invited all of our clients and guests to send us their own Bitmoji doing some fun summer activities! We had a blast creating our whole team and many of us still use our PCH Bitmoji in our emails!
JULY
July is always our favorite month at PCH! We were rocking and rolling in the midst of the busy Summer Housing season when we got the news that we were ranked among Houston's Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies! This was Preferred Corporate Housing's 3rd time to make this prestigious list!

"It's surreal to think that we are one of the fastest-growing companies in the 4th largest city in the US," said Samantha Elliott, President of PCH. "But I know how much my team cares about the work we do for our clients, so I'm never surprised when we achieve success."
AUGUST
In August, PCH was named to the Inc 5000 list for the 2nd time! "For a company that has been successful for the past twenty-two years to continue to see year-over-year growth of this magnitude is the true indicator that our level of service can't be beat," said Jon Lanclos, after hearing of PCH's inclusion on the 2018 Inc list.
SEPTEMBER
In mid September, PCH initiated our Disaster Response Preferred Placement Program after our client requested temporary housing for more than 3,000 employees and displaced homeowners following a gas pipeline explosion near Boston.

Within two weeks of the call, PCH was able to secure hundreds of apartments for the pipeline repair teams and those displaced by this tragedy. This would go on to become one of the largest groups we've housed in our 22 year history.
OCTOBER
The PCH Team attended the WERC Global Workforce Symposium in Seattle in October. This is usually one of the busiest weeks of the year for the PCH Business Development and Leadership Team.

During the 4-day conference, we packed in 14 client meetings, 7 hours of booth time, 9 partner and client after-hours events, 25 hours of continuing education sessions including 1 hour of session leadership, 3 hours of YP40 Committee volunteer time and 45 minutes of Boot Camp! And we sure did have fun doing it all!
NOVEMBER
We took the time to be thankful for all our accomplishments and for the wonderful people who helped make them happen. We celebrated Turkey Day together as a PCH Family with our Annual Thanksgiving Potluck.

We also let the office go to the dogs on our 3rd Annual "Pups of PCH Day!" This day was immediately followed by Annual Office Carpet Cleaning Day ;)
DECEMBER
We LOVE the holidays at PCH! December always brings lots of opportunities to give back to our clients and our community.

One of the many ways our Team Members helped spread holiday cheer was by surprising some of our very deserving guests with decorated Christmas Trees. These guest were receiving cancer treatment in the Houston Medical Center, and were being housed in PCH-sponsored apartments through our partnership with the Amshwand Sarcoma Cancer Foundation. It was such a pleasure to be able to do this for these guests!
What a fantastic year! We are closing 2018 with 24% year-over-year growth! 22 years ago when we started PCH, we never would have imagined we would still be continuing to grow at this rate. As Jon Lanclos, Founder of PCH, commented, "New and established clients consistently come back to PCH for their temporary housing needs and chose to put the success of their employee mobility programs in our hands. They do this because we have the best team who consistently give the very best service."

And we can't wait to do it all again with you in 2019!
