Boys Varsity Soccer Enjoys
another Great Fall Season
Boys Soccer worked hard as they move to a tougher conference this fall.

After graduating some key seniors in 2018, Varsity Boys Soccer had a rebuilding year yet finished the season with some key wins.  Coach Paul Escobar's squad was a mix of young talent, workman-like juniors, and senior leadership. The record of 5-15-2 reflected a move to a tough conference, featuring last year's state champion, as well as some growing pains early on.  Toward the latter half of the season, the team found a groove and rattled off some impressive victories in the first round of City playoffs, as well as a 4-1 win over Nazareth during State playoffs.  The season concluded with a loss in the regional semi-final to Latin.  The Junior Varsity finished an impressive 12-0-2 in an equally tough conference, and the future looks bright for Payton Soccer.
