2018 PAD PROGRESS

Thank YOU for an amazing year!

Dear PAD Supporter,

In 2018, PAD presenters made presentations to over 1,700 students via high school health classes and school wide presentations. In addition, PAD lessons in Google Docs have been used by several teachers as pedagogical material and we estimate that several hundred more students have benefited from them.

Family, Fun, and Thrills Event!

A big Thank You to our supporters for joining us on June 9th for our Family Fun & Thrills event! We are so grateful to TISTA for sponsoring this event and for coordinating it. PAD team members distributed over 100 brochures to race car drivers and the public. After that event, there was a noticeable increase in Facebook donations!

Guggenheim Fundraiser

Guggenheim in Rockville continues to hold events that support PAD, latest one was held on June 28, 2018. Donations from Benevity is directly linked to this fundraising event. Big THANK YOU to Guggenheim!

Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT)

TpT is an online marketplace where educators sell their original lesson plans and other course materials to other educators, and also share for free. PAD's lessons on TpT will be free to educators. PAD has uploaded its first lesson: Mental Health Challenges, Dominic’s Story.

In 2019, PAD is looking forward to reaching thousands of young people. We are in the process of improving PAD materials to make them more interesting and interactive. We are also looking forward to having a booth at PE/Health Class conferences. PAD's message of hope and help will reach thousands of young people.
