"Loving our Neighbors as Ourselves"

Saint Matthew's has maintained a commitment to serving the hungry for many years.  Specifically, we have been a faithful supporter of the Epiphany Soup Kitchen, which is currently housed at St. Stephen's Church in Providence; and we make on-going food donations to two Food Pantries that serve those in need.

At least six times a year, a crew for volunteers from Saint Matthew's, under the devoted leadership of John and Mary  Ann Will iamson, drives up the St. Stephen's to prepare and serve a warm, healthy meal to those who might otherwise not get one that day.  A portion of our budget goes towards to the soup kitchen to help with the cost of food supplies.

In addition to our on-going efforts at the Epiphany Soup Kitchen, Saint Matthew's also donates food to the Jonnycake Center Food Pantry (below)in Peace Dale and the North Kingstown Food Pantry.
