Virginia Capital Trail Bike Tour

Come on a bike ride with Cat Anthony, Executive Director of the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation. Learn about the Virginia Capital Trail, how Henrico's history played out on a national stage, the Revolutionary War, and other relevant topics. Cat will also discuss nonprofit management to include marketing, funding, and enhancements of trails. Participants will also get a brief history of the Virginia Capital Trail and its Foundation while participating in a bike ride that starts at Dorey Park and goes along a portion of the Virginia Capital Trail.

Transportation will be provided to Dorey Park. Shuttle pick up outside of the hotel at 1pm. Bikes and helmets will be provi ded.

Weekend Auction Bids Accepted
Thanks to a generous donation by MUSCO Lighting, the Foundation of VRPS will be accepting bids for a once-in-a-lifetime Richmond Raceway April experience (retail value $4,000).  Stop by the Foundation table in the conference registration area to submit your bid beginning at 2pm, with registration on Saturday, through Monday evening at 6pm.

Silent Auction

The Silent Auction takes place during Sunday Exhibit Hall hours (2-6pm).  Winners are contacted via cell and expected to return for on-site payment and retrieval of their item(s) at 6pm Sunday.

NEW for 2018:  Live Auction

Enjoy a live auction for select items on Monday at 6pm during the President's Reception in the foyer outside the ballroom, immediately preceding the Awards Banquet.  Auctioneer Todd Brown (Fairfax County Park Authority) will entertain attendees as he auctions select items to include hand crafted art pieces and culminating in the Victory Lane NASCAR package.

Auction proceeds benefit the Foundation of VRPS Education Endowment.  The Education Endowment has awarded over $200,000 in scholarships and assisted dozens of students and professionals with their education.
