Miss Widner's News
Dear Parents, Students, Grandparents, and Staff,
I hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break and was able to spend time with their family. Weather around the Fort Wayne area was not that bad. I was able to catch up on work and sleeping. LOL!! Now, we enter the 4th quarter and watch the time fly by quickly! Congratulations to those students who made our 3rd quarter Honor Roll! We will have those Honor Roll Breakfasts and Celebrations on April 23 (grades 6-7-8) and April 24 (grades 3-4-5). Invitations will be coming home soon!
Today, our new Online Registration/Enrollment Procedure goes "live!" This means if you have created a username and password, you can follow the directions outlined in the Wednesday Envelope and re-enroll your student(s). ***Please note: this new online procedure will take a few more minutes to complete. You are entering your child(ren)'s information all over again, and once you have done this, it is saved!! It will be transferred each year! The first year takes the longest to complete! We appreciate everyone's patience and support completing the information. Please email or call the school's office if you have any questions.
Holy Week begins on Sunday, and our Lenten Journey is coming to an end. I have been praying for our students, staff, and school families.  do hope your Lent has been an uplifting one, full of change, Reconciliation, and an opportunity for a clean heart. Please come to our Way of the Cross on Thursday, April 18 at 10:00AM. Our 8th graders present this beautiful Lenten prayer service.

Have a wonderful Holy Week!
Miss Widner

Food Rescue
by Jennifer Dluzak

Our Food Rescue program continues to make a big contribution in our community this year! From the beginning of the school year, through the month of March, we have collected and donated almost 12,000 servings of whole & unopened food items (mostly fruits & vegetables) that previously would have been disposed of from our Hot Lunch program. The majority of these items were donated to Charis House, for women & children experiencing a homeless crisis.
We are still in need of a few more drivers through the remainder of the school year, to make these deliveries to Charis House. Deliveries are typically scheduled for Wednesdays & Fridays when it is convenient for you. Please see the SignUp Genius link if you can volunteer to make one of these deliveries https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0b4daeaa22a5f58-food
.

If there are any questions, please contact Jennifer Dluzak at 260-414-9257.
