LEADERSHIP LETTER: KATIE GUSTAFSON, MIDDLE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
Middle School Principa l
Pingree Park and Sky Ranch - Trips of a Lifetime!

Dear Dragon Families,

I’m excited to report our eighth successful middle school trip to Pingree Park! Every September, our middle school moves to the mountains for three days of experiential learning, environmental stewardship, and community building. This is one of the most anticipated experiences each year for our students and teachers. We are so grateful to the army of staff members and parent chaperones who helped us embark to the CSU Mountain Campus and Sky Ranch camp. Not only did our amazing teaching staff put in countless hours in preparation, we enjoyed the expertise of the Colorado Mountain Club, amazing experiences on both high and low ropes courses, and astronomy under the most beautiful Colorado night sky. We can’t forget to acknowledge the contributions from all of our parents in working ahead of time to prepare their children both physically and emotionally for a trip like this. Thank you for supporting our efforts!

I was so proud to see Dragon PRIDE in full effect while we were away from campus last week. As we venture into October, we look forward to sharing our PRIDE in the connections with our amazing faculty at the Dragon Dash and Parent Teacher Conferences. Whether your child attends preschool, eighth grade, or somewhere in between, we celebrate the community and connections that are so unique to Flagstaff Academy. Thank you for being part of what makes our school so special.
