LEADERSHIP LETTER: WAYNE GRANGER, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Happy September Dragon Families,

I cannot describe what an energetic and positive start we have had to this school year. Dragon PRIDE is thriving in our building and we are getting such positive feedback from students and parents on the changes they are seeing daily. We have also had students and parents request our Dragon PRIDE posters for home. We just received our shipment of 11x17 full color Dragon PRIDE posters for our families. Feel free to stop by the front office and pick one up for free. We will also have them available at school events and Parent-Teacher Conferences.

St. Vrain Valley School District Board of Education "Schools to Watch" Recognition

Next Wednesday, September 11th , the SVVSD Board of Education will be recognizing Flagstaff Academy for our Colorado Trailblazer and National School to Watch Award. We would love for our families to join us in celebrating this award. The meeting is held at the SVVSD Educational Services Center, 395 South Pratt Parkway. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. and we are very early in the meeting agenda. Wear your Flagstaff Academy spirit wear and help us show SVVSD the strength of our Dragon Community.

I look forward to celebrating this milestone with our Dragon community.

Wayne Granger
Executive Director

DRIVELINE
AFTERNOON DRIVELINE TIMES CLARIFICATIONS
The staggering of arrival times ensures the most safe and efficient afternoon release. We are seeing parents arriving prior to 3:00 p.m. and creating a backup from which it is hard to recover. Unless you are a RideShare family, please do not arrive prior to 3:25 p.m. Please keep these times in mind when planning your arrival.

RideShare : Prior to 3:24 p.m.
Driveline Waves: 3:35 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.

When does Driveline close?

Now that most routines are in place and our system is working well, we are completing driveline by 3:50-3:55 p.m. daily. To ensure that you arrive before we close the entrance, please arrive prior to 3:50 p.m. After 3:51 p.m., when we no longer see a line of cars coming into the lot from Miller Dive, we close the driveline entrance so that we can get cars parked and kids loaded. We do not move kids and cars at the same time. If we continue to remain open for cars arriving here and there, we can never close the lot and stop moving cars to release students.
