LEADERSHIP LETTER: WAYNE GRANGER, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Hello Dragons,

Thank you for such a great first week back of our 15th year at Flagstaff Academy! I love the energy in the building, and the Annual Flag Ceremony is one of my very favorite moments each year. Hearing 900 kids saying the Pledge of Allegiance, paying respect to our country, and the American Legion members is touching. Watching students from Mrs. Reh's class go up and shake the hand of the bugler was awesome. And it started a huge line! That's Dragon PRIDE!

I'd also like to welcome our new staff members, as well as all returning staff members, some of whom have taken on new and exciting roles at our school. Go Dragons!

All forms must be returned to the main office by Tuesday, September 3, 2019 . Incomplete nomination forms will not be accepted. Student records will then be evaluated and testing needs determined.

FRIDAY FOLDERS
Take the survey and tell us what you think. We'll share the results in the next issue of the Dragon Weekly!
Friday Folders Survey:
PreK through 5th Grade ONLY
We're exploring a new program for Friday Folders for the 2019-2020 school year, to help reduce our paper use and increase readership.

Every week you would find links to all the Friday Folder flyers in a weekly Friday Folder email blast, which can then be printed (at home). We'd also continue to send home items such as school photo orders, yearbook orders, and PTO flyers. All Friday Folder materials would be available on our website.

Regular Friday Folder distribution will begin Friday, August 23rd.
