Registration is now open for the 2019 Aevidum Conference, Rock Aevidum! The conference is designed to engage Aevidum members, provide critical mental health and suicide prevention training, empower students to use their gifts and talents to create change, share ideas and best practices, and energize participants to continue the Aevidum movement within their schools and communities. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.

This session will feature the voices of a variety of mental health and suicide prevention advocates.

In this high-energy session, students will be presented with a series of creative challenges.

Advisors will participate in a session to network and share best practices.

QPR Training
QPR is an empirically-supported suicide prevention gatekeeper training. QPR is intended to help everyday individuals recognize the warning signs, clues and suicidal communications of people in trouble and to act vigorously to prevent a possible tragedy. During this session, participants will discuss facts concerning mental health and suicide prevention, recognize warning signs of those who may be thinking about suicide, learn how to ask the question about suicide, and understand how to make a referral to the proper resources. All participants will leave this session with their QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper certification.

Participants will have the opportunity to network during lunch. The Aevidum Team will also be giving out club, student, and advisor awards.

REGISTRATION
Due to capacity restrictions, each school is eligible to send ten participants (students and adults). We recommend that schools consider sending either nine students and one adult or eight students and two adults to ensure the most students can participate. If spaces are still available, we will release any additional spaces to already-registered schools on February 11, 2019.

The registration fee is $20 per participant and includes sessions, handouts, t-shirt, bag, snack, lunch, and QPR certification. Rates are per person unless otherwise specified. Schools will be invoiced for the registration fees after completing the registration form. Payments are due by Friday, February 15, 2019.
