2019 Annual Compliance Reporting Requirements and Documents Now Available
The 2019 Annual Compliance Reporting Requirements and Documents are available under the Annual Compliance Reporting section on the Iowa Finance Authority Housing Compliance web page linked below. 

Federal regulations require that you submit information to the Iowa Finance Authority to monitor both Housing Tax Credit, HOME or National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) projects on an annual basis.
Please make note of recent changes:

  • IFA requires that HOME or NHTF only projects utilize this reporting process, including the use of our online system, Certification Portal (CP) formerly known as Certification on-Line (COL). If you are new to this process and need login information and training, please contact us.

  • IFA also requires that each Project submit a new "Exhibit F -Compliance Monitoring Information Sheet" each year with the contact information requested. It is critical that we have the most up to date contact information so that we can keep in touch with you.

  • If this is your first-year reporting after placing your project in service and starting your credits in 2019, and/or your HOME/NHTF Affordability Period began in 2019, your documentation is due to IFA by 4/1/2020.

  • All other Project documentation is due by 3/1/2020.

  • Don’t forget that you now can upload all your Annual Report documents through the CP system. A manual on how to use the system to upload documents is available here.
