APRIL 2019
It's Our 30th Anniversary
See what we did leading up to this monumental year in
 our 2019 Annual Report.
Dear Friend of DKT,

This year, DKT celebrates 30 years of social marketing. Founded in 1989, we have remained true to our vision to empower women and men around the world to choose their reproductive destinies. To do that, we provide them with accurate information and education, and ensure they have access to high-quality contraceptives and safe abortion products at a price they can afford.

We are pleased to release our 2019 Annual Report, highlighting results from the prior year. DKT provided more than 44.6 million CYPs across 55 countries. More details about this, along with our health impact, is below, and easily available on our website.

We welcome your questions and comments. Thank you for your interest in and support of DKT.

DKT and Sida Announce New Partnership
We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Sida.

With the support of $40 million over four years, we will improve the knowledge of and access to quality sexual and reproductive health products and services in 21 Sub-Saharan African countries. Using a regional approach, we plan to target some of the poorest and most vulnerable populations, young people, and the LGBTQ community.

The project expects to prevent 9.5 million unwanted pregnancies, 11.3 unsafe abortions, and 3 million HIV-related deaths.
Sida supports DKT Mozambique, where outreach programs reach women in rural communities. Many women in this photo are teen mothers in rural Nacuca.
