I hope everyone in the cleantech community is having a great Colorado summer and getting some time to enjoy our mountain splendor. We are also pleased to introduce our 2019 Annual Legislative Review report which lays out our work at the Colorado General assembly this year in an easy and concise format. Policy (other than on the rulemaking and regulatory front) slows down during the summer and this year is no exception. Listed below are some key rulemaking actions taking place this summer.

Zero Emission Vehicle Mandate - The rulemaking process is taking place at the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment’s Air Quality Control Commission. The hearing starts on 8/13 and should last 1-3 days depending on public testimony. There are also opportunities to submit written comments. For more information visit:

Greenhouse Gas Statewide Inventory Study - A draft proposal has been released for a biannual comprehensive greenhouse gas report from the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment. Written comments can be submitted before August 4.
Email written comments to: cdphe.commentsapcd@state.co.us with the subject "Draft Greenhouse Gas Inventory".
