2019 Annual Meeting
Dear beloved community of Holy Apostles,

The Annual Meeting is upon us on January 27, 2019. We need you! The entirety of the Episcopal Church, as an institution of Christians, is formed and governed by the lay people (meaning non-clergy) and clergy, together as one body in Christ. This mutual model of ministry is the backbone of every Episcopal congregation.

January 27, 2019
ONE service of Holy Eucharist at 9 a.m.
Annual Meeting follows on the lanai, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Your participation is important.
I will reflect on the ways God has worked within us as a community, on the accomplishments and lessons of 2018, as well as our call of the Spirit in 2019. The Sr. and Jr. Wardens will speak on the status of our finances and functions as a faith community. Our 2019 budget will also be presented. Elections will be held and your vote matters. We will thank and recognize leaders who have finished their terms.

Who is eligible to vote?
Voters are lay people who are at least 16 years old and part of the Holy Apostles’ community for at least 6 months.

Leadership Discernment and Nomination

The lay leadership of the congregation is an important and necessary role in the life of our church. If you do, please complete a nomination form and submit it to the office by January 18 th .  Please submit a photo to be printed along with your nomination for the information packet. We will take nominations from the floor, but it is preferred that your nomination form be completed in advance for preparation.

Who is eligible for nomination?
Nominees for leadership of the congregation must be at least 16 years of age, communicants of the Episcopal Church, and/or baptized Christians recognized as members of congregation.

Together we will enter a new season on this road of discipleship, following the Holy One, our great and loving creator, redeemer, and sustainer.

With profound gratitude to know you and serve God with you,
