Congratulations to Illinois' 3rd All-Girls Affiliate, the Barrington Bucs! Our newest All-Girls Affiliate will be playing out of the Barrington Ice Arena and will be instrumental in introducing new girls to the great sport of ice hockey. 
 
The Barrington Bucs join the Central Illinois Revolution and the Northshore Warhawks as an All-Girls Affiliate. All three organizations deserve much applause for their hard work and dedication to Illinois Girls’ Hockey. THANK YOU!!
To ALL our Affiliates: THANK YOU for your countless hours of dedication, experience and guidance given to our female athletes. Each and every one of you make a difference in these young lives every time you arrive at the rink for a practice or a game, bring snacks, give positive encouragement to players, or make them smile.

Another successful College Hockey Night: Thank you to all those who attended our Girls' College Hockey night on September 30th! YOU are the reason it was such a success. Make sure to read our annual "College Hockey Report" in this issue of Girls Snapshot. It's exciting to see how many Illinois women have advanced and are currently playing NCAA and ACHA Women's hockey. The opportunity is out there for all of you!

2019 AMERICA'S SHOWCASE
The USA Hockey America’s High School Showcase will be held April 16-20, 2020 in St. Louis, Missouri. It will be hosted by the Mid States Club Hockey Association in conjunction with USA Hockey and Missouri Hockey.

The America's Showcase is designed to allow high school hockey players from across the country who do not traditionally get scouted due to geographic and budgetary constraints within the scouting circles the opportunity to compete against the best of the best during a three to four day period and be seen.

40+ Illinois Women Playing NCAA Division I College Hockey
It’s a testament to our Illinois girls, coaches, and associations that so many of our young women from Illinois were able to realize their dream of playing NCAA Division I College Hockey. Congratulations and good luck this season to the women continuing their hockey careers along with obtaining the ever important college degree. 60+ Illinois Women Playing ACHA Hockey Across the Nation
The buttons below represent the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Women's Club teams across the country. The 60+ young women rostered to these teams compete in leagues across the country at two different levels: Division I and II. While ACHA may not get as much publicity as NCAA Division I and Division III, rest assured the level of hockey played is outstanding. Check out some great ACHA Women's Hockey today...click on school name to view their 2019-20 schedule: Robert Morris, McKendree, Lindenwood-Belleville and Loyola. 
All lists were compiled from the American College Hockey Association website rosters. In some instances, hometowns/states were not listed on a team’s roster, or no roster was available. USWNT TRAINING CAMP ROSTER
Illinois’ Kendall Coyne Schofield and Megan Bozek Named to U.S. Women's National Team Training Camp Roster
USA Hockey announced the 23-player roster for the U.S. Women's National Team that will take part in a week-long training camp with the Canadian Women’s National Team at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry Township, Pa., just north of Pittsburgh.

The joint camp will be held in Pittsburgh from Nov. 4-10 and will feature two exhibition contests between the United States and Canada.
ALL-GIRLS NHL YOUTH CUP TOURNAMENT
The NHL Youth Cup Series has formally partnered with the Chicago Mission and the America's Cup Showcase.
The NHL and the Chicago Blackhawks present the first-ever All-Girls NHL Youth Cup Tournament December 13-15, 2019 at Fifth Third Ice Arena in Chicago. This tournament is open to all 14U, 16U & 19U Girls' teams registered/rostered at the 'AA' level (Tier II/III). Please click button below for additional information, cost and registration.
