The Wyoming County EDA is an economic and community development organization striving to make Wyoming County a better place to live, work and play! We provide small business loans for new and existing businesses on a regional and statewide level. Our goal is to make our hometown in the mountains of Southern West Virginia your hometown.

USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP
We are excited to announce our Rural Business Development USDA partnership of $50,000 we received to help entrepreneurs in our area for start-up or existing businesses. This will help us continue to assist more small businesses!
BINGO! Wyoming County Community Fund Fundraiser a Success
The Bingo fundraising event held on Saturday, October 19, boasted preliminary numbers around $3,500 for the Wyoming County Community Fund. We would like to give a huge thank you to every one of our sponsors. Whether it was cash, items, or gift certificates donated, this event would not have been possible without your generous support.
Thank you to Pineville Elementary School for hosting the event and providing concessions; volunteers Laura Roberts-Lambert and Christy Laxton of the Wyoming County EDA, Courtney Tilley and David Lord; and bingo caller, Michael Knotts  for making this event a success! EDGE GRANT RECIPIENT

Nine organizations in Virginia and West Virginia, including the Wyoming County EDA, that submitted applications to Appalachian Power’s Economic Development Growth Enhancement (EDGE) program were awarded funding. $17,500 was awarded to the Wyoming County EDA to develop/update a new marketing and promotional strategy via a new website and drone marketing!

Wyoming County EDA Receives Certificate of Completion from WVDEP
The Wyoming County EDA has received the Certificate of Completion from the WVDEP as of September 30, 2019 for the Barkers Creek Industrial Park at Tralee. This means that we can now build permanent buildings on the site with the use of our Land Use Covenant and that we have satisfied all regulations and requirements of the Remediation and Clean-Up plan for the US EPA and the WV DEP.
ARC Investment Award
The Wyoming County EDA will receive a total of $503,000 in loan funds to manage in the Advantage Valley region over a 3-year period. Click below to read the full document.
