Preparing for One-Day Labor Strike: The University of California has received a notice from unions that they will strike or strike in sympathy on Wednesday, April 10, beginning at midnight. The unions’ units represent employees across UCSF, UCSF Health, UCSF Dental Center and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. Reforming Mental Health in the City: Mayor London Breed has appointed UCSF psychiatrist, Anton Nigusse Bland, MD, to serve as Director of Mental Health Reform for San Francisco.
