Announcing the 2019 Cardinal Women*
With the successful kick-off of the Cardinal Women* Program on August 14 th , we would like to announce 72 individuals who have been selected to participate in this personal and professional leadership development program specifically for women* who are faculty and staff at Iowa State University.

These 72 women* along with 8 small group leaders will engage in five two hour face-to-face sessions this fall, participate in large and small group discussions, and continue the conversation between sessions via Canvas. Program topics include identifying and silencing the inner critic, discovering and utilizing your inner mentor, communication style strategies, approaches to negotiation, and how to support and affirm members of our community.

This program is being offered at no cost to participants and these women* were selected from the 146 applications received for the program. Cardinal Women* was developed and is being led by Tera Lawson, School of Education, and Dr. Denise Williams-Klotz, Office of Multicultural Student Affairs.
