The Riverside County 2019 Homeless Youth Point-in-Time (PIT) Count, is fast approaching. The Department of Public Social Services is looking for 500 youth friendly volunteers to help count and survey homeless youth ages 24 & under that are living on the streets throughout Riverside County.
Operation SafeHouse
will be assisting in all three days of the count and will use our Emergency Shelter as a departure location. This is open to any youth-friendly individuals, college group or clubs, faith-based organizations or agencies. If you know anyone who would like to participate in any of the following days, please have them complete the volunteer registration.
The multi-day street youth count is January 29th through January 31, 2019 from 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. each day.
* Volunteers must attend a training session where they will discuss important safety guidelines and learn how to us the Survey123 mobile application.
