ASCS Recap

The first Advances in Sleep and Circadian Science (ASCS) meeting took place at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort, in Clearwater Beach, Florida from February 1st-4th, 2019. The meeting was developed and sponsored by the Sleep Research Society (SRS) in collaboration with the Society for Research on Biological Rhythms (SRBR) to highlight and catalyze integrative sleep and circadian science. Read more...

Meetings of Interest

The Gordon Research Conference (GRC) in Chronobiology will be held near Barcelona, June 23-28th, 2019.   Speakers include Nobel laureates Michael Rosbash and Mike Young.  Applications for this meeting must be submitted by May 26, 2019.  Younger scientists may also wish to attend the preceding Gordon Research Seminar (June 22-23, 2019) which is being coordinated with the GRC. The GRC Chronobiology and associated GRS encourages applications from individuals of minority groups and persons with disabilities by allocating Gordon and NIH funds to support registration and travel.  Principle investigators are particularly requested to recommend graduate students and postdocs within their groups who might meet these criteria to apply for the meeting.
