2019 – A Bittersweet End to A Successful Session
The first year of the new term witnessed many high intensity issues, as always. Counties came through with critical support for 9-1-1 systems, an intact budget plan, education incentives, and useful new local tools. The late-session passing of longtime Speaker Mike Busch offered a somber punctuation to a productive and important legislative session.
