Painesville, OH – April 27, 2019 – The 2019 TheraPlate Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) National Championships continued on Saturday, April 27, at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. Collegiate members from nine regions and twenty-eight schools are competing throughout the weekend, with the highly coveted Team competition set to conclude the eighteenth National Championships on Sunday.
Top Individuals took to Saturday’s stage to test their skills among the four levels of IDA classification. Final results for the 2019 TheraPlate Intercollegiate Dressage Association National Championships Individual Day are as follows:

USDF IDA Quiz Challenge Results:
 
The USDF IDA Quiz Challenge, sponsored by Big Dee’s, took place on Friday, April 26 and tested twenty finalists from across North America. The Quiz focuses on classical dressage theory and training, and dressage competition rules. The top five riders from each level of the Round 1 competition moved on to the Championship Round.
The 2019 Grand Prize awarded a registration to the 2020 USDF/USEF Young Rider Graduate Program. This program is a two-day educational seminar that focuses on crucial topics that young adults need to know to prepare for a professional career in the equine industry. Topics include goal setting, sponsorship, international competition and business subjects such as contracts, insurance and tax practices. These subjects are taught by some of the top professionals in the country to foster strong role models for the future.
