Friends,

The Foundation has had an extraordinary year. Our children, parents, mentors, coaches and staff have never been more unified in our quest to revolutionize education by creating the ultimate environment for youth development; inspiring children to be grateful, mindful and aware of how to become their best selves.

Below is an outline of our Foundation’s successes and how you can get involved by donating or volunteering. We appreciate your support and invite you to join us in this extremely meaningful work :)

Sincerely,

Trent Alenik

Alejandro became the first person in his family to go to college, earned a college scholarship to Dartmouth, was ranked #13 in the US, and won a national championship in doubles this year with partner Blake Kasday.
National Tennis Foundation
Partnership
Thanks to Remington Reynolds, Trevor Short, Mike Richard & the National Tennis Foundation, we've created a partnership that has allowed us to expand our outreach to chapters in Atlanta and the British Virgin Islands. We've had student-athletes from these chapters attend our Leadership Retreats, BNP Paribas Open Trip, and have lived in our transitional housing and taken part in our Team Bryan program. The National Tennis Foundation has also provided two incredible project-driven-learning opportunities for our students including the Necker Cup and One World Player Party ping pong event.
Abigail Desiatnikov
Abigail has been part of Team Bryan for four years and joined our program through our partnership with the National Tennis Foundation. After winning the Jr. Orange Bowl, countless national titles, and reaching #1 in the US, Abigail just committed to a full-ride scholarship to University of San Diego.
World Team Tennis
Vegas Rollers
The Foundation ran 71% of the operations of Vegas' newest professional sports team. Foundation youth & alumni were involved in running all aspects of the Vegas Rollers including promotions, marketing, ticketing, operations, transportation, player services, VIP hosting, food and beverage. Board member & partner Tim Blenkiron served as the head coach of the team, alongside supporter Redfoo. Alumni Asia Muhammed played on the team along with Vegas local Evan Song. Alumni Ricky Sypert was given the key role of assistant general manager, working alongside general manager & advisory board member Sally Dewhurst. We set the record for most attendance in a regular season home match with over 5,000 attendees on opening weekend, and also hosted the year-end championships. We are starting to gear up for the 2020 Season taking place July 14-31st @ Orleans Arena!
Health & Wellness Festivals
Our organization ran 60% of the operations, filling 42 staffing & volunteer positions for 3 health & wellness festivals that took place in Cincinatti and Denver, with over 120,000 attendees. In partnership with Jewel & Kroger, it was an incredible Project Driven Learning opportunity for our youth and we are slated to host our next Health & Wellness Festival in October of 2020 in Cincinatti. Notable supporters and attendees included Rachel Platten, Redfoo, Tony Horton, Gavin Degraw, Tone It Up Girls, Natasha Bedingfield, and Nick Lachey.
Selena Williams
Selena overcame tremendous adversity and won the Bill & Melinda Gates Scholarship, along with the Rogers Scholarship. She will be attending Brown University this Fall.
126 College Scholarships
We are proud to announce another spectacular graduating class with students gaining acceptances and earning scholarships to schools such as Stanford, Dartmouth, Brown, USC, USD, Westmont, Wesleyan, UC Berkley and UNLV.
National Sportsmanship
Award Winner
Cherrial Odell is our organization's second winner of the prestigious USTA Bill Talbert National Sportsmanship Award. This award is given to one male and female student-athlete each year and is awarded at the US Open. The award highlighted Cherrial's heroic story of overcoming tremendous odds to find peace of mind, kindness, and being of service to countless others through her NJTL program. Cherrial will be attending Stanford University in the Fall of 2020.
Blake Kasday
Blake Kasday has been part of Team Bryan for several years and is the oldest of 4 siblings that are in the program. Athletic Results
Big thanks to one of our top donors, Tim Blenkiron, who does not charge the foundation to train our children in need. Our partnership with Tim and the No Quit Tennis Academy allows our students to take part in elite tennis training five days a week. The program has produced five former #1 ranked payers in the USA, and more than 20 that reached top 25 in the USA. Just this summer children in the program won over 15 national and sectional titles, with Abigail Desiatnikov winning 4 sectional championships in both singles and doubles, Alejandro Quiles reaching #13 in the country for B18's, Blake Kasday earned the #1 doubles ranking in the country. At Summer Sectionals we won 6 of the 8 singles and 7 of the 8 doubles titles and have posted some incredible results all year long. 2019 results & highlights include:

75+ Nationally Ranked Players
30+ Sectional Titles
15+ National Titles
9 College Scholarships to Stanford, Brown, USC, San Diego, UNLV, Toronto, Westmont, and Findlay

4 State Championships
1 World Team Tennis Team
1 All-American Championship

National Scholarship Recipients
This is the first time in our organization's history that our high school graduates have been awarded prestigious, nationally recognized scholarships to college. They include scholarships from Questbridge, Horatio Alger, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Rogers Foundation.
Leadership Retreats
Leadership Retreats are one of the most powerful programs we provide. Students are taken out of their day to day lives and placed into new environments, often involving nature, self-reflection and team bonding that gives them a new perspective on life and a greater sense of appreciation for what they have. Retreat's include:

Sanford Family Zion Retreat
Colorado River Retreats
Wolfington Family East Coast Leadership Tour
US Open Alumni Retreat
Captain Paradise Environmental Leadership Retreat
Granello Bakery Alumni Winter Leadership Retreat

Thank you to everyone who made this possible :)

Human of the Year Award
Steve Wozniak and Ryan Wolfington won the prestigious Human of the Year Award and were presented this honor at the Human Gathering in California. They were recognized for their commitment to giving back and making the world a happier and healthier place .

New Office
Thanks to our incredible relationship with the City of Las Vegas, we were able to upgrade our office space and move from a small 800 sq. foot classroom to a 2,400 sq. foot office that includes a classroom, back yard, meditation lounge, full kitchen, waiting room, and much more. Next time you're in Las Vegas or around Lorenzi Park, come check us out!
