It's the waders and jackets our new hunters wear. The decoys on our hunting properties. The ammunition that kids shoot at our summer camps. The e-collars on the dogs that retrieve our members' ducks.

We're talking about partnership.

Send us your post season youth hunt pics
Send us your photos of kids you took out for Youth Hunt Weekend and we'll choose the best ones for the special Youth Hunt Scrapbook in the Summer issue of California Waterfowl magazine! Email photos to Associate Editor Wayne Tilcock at  wtilcock@calwaterfowl.org . Be sure to include the name and age of the child, the location of the hunt, and anything interesting you'd like to tell us about the child's experience during the hunt. As space is limited, group photos are especially encouraged.
California Duck Days - February 23
Here's something to keep your whole family engaged with ducks in the post-season: California Duck Days! This year it's Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area headquarters in Davis. As always, CWA will be there - in addition to having our own booth, we're doing:

  • Wood duck nest box building/dove nest cones
  • Live duckling handling
  • Into the Wild workshop
  • Decoy-painting workshop
